Finally a book with orchestral excerpts for younger harpists !

This latest album of the collection "The Harp at the Heart of the Orchestra" by Elisabeth COLARD will enable younger harpists to discover the orchestral repertoire, accessible from the 6th or 7th year of study.

  As in previous volumes, the excerpts presented here are set in their musical context, thanks to melodic references which will guide the student  learning to play in a collective and exciting  practice: the orchestra.

  Most of the extracts are taken from operas or ballets, where the harp often plays an essential role in accompanying magnificent arias or musical phrases, providing an opportunity to reveal or develop the student's artistic sense.

  In order to test and share these fragments with another musician,  this 3rd volume is supplemented by access to  separate melodic parts thanks to a QR Code.
